1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Notiq AI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What Notiq AI does

Notiq AI turns study material you upload — notes, lecture slides, and text — into flashcards, quizzes, study guides, and formatted notes using artificial intelligence. The Service is provided as-is, and features may change or be added over time.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for anything that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up. If you're under 13, you may not use the Service; if you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.

4. Terms of Use (acceptable use)

When using Notiq AI, you agree not to:

• Upload content you don't have the right to use (for example, pirated textbooks or other people's copyrighted material without permission).
• Use the Service to cheat on exams or violate your school's academic integrity policies. Notiq AI is a study tool, not a shortcut around learning.
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service, or access other users' data.
• Use the Service for anything unlawful or harmful.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload. By uploading, you give Notiq AI permission to store and process that material solely to provide the Service to you (for example, sending it to an AI model to generate your flashcards). We don't sell your content.

6. AI-generated content

Flashcards, quizzes, guides, and notes are generated by AI and can contain mistakes. Always double-check important facts against your original material. Notiq AI is not responsible for grades, outcomes, or decisions based on generated content.

7. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If changes are significant, we'll make that clear on the site. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them.
